Spring Bank Arts Coffee Concerts 2020 Series
We are pleased to announce a performance by Nicholas Trygstad of works for solo cello by Bach and Benjamin Britten.
This will take place on October 25th at 11.30, with a second performance at 2:30pm. Tickets for the afternoon concert will only be made available once the morning concert is full.
In order to continue the postponed 2020 series Spring Bank Arts are offering the opportunity for those who purchased season tickets, or an individual ticket for the postponed April concert, to be able to come along and hear two landmark works for solo cello.
Bach’s first cello suite in G major is so famous, not just for its opening prelude, but for being one of the first of its kind in solo cello repertoire. Inspired by this wonderful music, and guided by his great friend Rostropovich, Britten wrote three suites for solo cello. In this concert Nicholas will perform the first of these three great works.
Audience numbers will be limited to 25 per concert. Spring Bank Arts is a Covid19-Secure venue, and all guidelines will be followed.
Please contact Spring Bank Arts 01663 308202 Monday to Friday 9:30am-12:30pm to book your ticket.
Please provide your old tickets as proof of purchase. If these have been misplaced please contact us to discuss. We would need to know the size of your party in order to organise seating accordingly. For test and trace purposes contact details are required.
We very much hope to be able to build audience confidence to return to a safe space for a live music event. The performers are of course desperate to be back and would welcome your support.
With best wishes and hoping you are all keeping safe and well.
