COVID 19

Following the Governments Plan B Announcement on 08.12.2021 we have looked at the new guidance and legislation which has been further updated  on 10.12.2021. As we are a multifunctional indoor venue  hosting community groups and entertainment events you are now required to wear a face mask when attending Spring Bank Arts. You are only exempt from wearing a mask for the following reasons, if you are exempt from wearing a mask, you are attending an exercise class or have food or drink to consume.   As an entertainment venue with a capacity of less than 500 you are not legally required to provide a NHS COVID Pass or proof of a negative test when attending events unless dancing is to take place.

Spring Bank Arts  has a legal duty to manage risks to those affected by their business this includes COVID 19 and to take reasonable steps to mitigate the risks identified.

While cases are high and rising, we believe that everyone needs to continue to act carefully and remain cautious.

Therefore with your safety in mind we request that you follow the measures outline below:

  • Do not enter the building if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID 19 or has tested positive within the last 10 days
  • Minimise close contact with those you do not live with
  • Use the hand sanitiser provided
  • Wear a face mask unless exempt as above.
  • Use the designated waiting area for the toilets
  • We shall continue the thorough cleaning regime and ask users to do the same
  • Open the doors and windows for ventilation where possible.
  • Information posters located throughout the building
  • We continue to run reduced capacity events at 50%
  • Table service will no longer continue, queuing at the bar is now allowed please minimise social contact with others
  • For Test and Trace purposes we would like to continue to keep records and will continue to display the QR code to use with NHS COVID-19 App
  • Please take a rapid lateral flow test before attending events
  • Provide NHS COVID Pass or proof of a negative test for dancing events

Please be advised that these measures are not now required by law however in order to keep you all safe and well  we request that you follow the above.

All measures we have in place will be reviewed by us as time goes on and guidance changes.

We are enormously grateful for your understanding and continued support.
