Covid 19 Update



The Government has outlined in their COVID-19 recovery strategy that leisure facilities, which include venues like Spring Bank Arts are able to open for business and hold live performances to a socially distanced audience as of 15th August 2020.  

We have been working hard behind the scenes in preparation to ensure that Spring Bank Arts centre is COVID-19 Secure and complies with government guidance. The centre has introduced a number of measures which should ensure that those who attend will not only be safe but feel safe. For your safety and the safety of others please pay attention to the posters, staff & volunteers providing information.  


We are a multifunctional centre therefore different measures will be in place depending on the event you attend. However the centre's standard measures include.

  • Social distancing outside the building 
  • Social distancing inside the building 
  • One way system
  • Hand sanitiser stations
  • Designated waiting area for the toilets
  • Thorough cleaning regime
  • Masks to be worn around the building
  • Information posters located throughout the building
  • Reduced capacity for all events
  • Refusal of social groups larger than 6
  • Table service where applicable
  • Recording Test and Trace information
  • QR code to use with NHS COVID-19 App

We are welcoming back some of our current local groups running from Spring Bank Arts in the coming weeks  please see our Events section for further details. For those of you that had purchased Hallé season tickets please ensure that you keep them safe for when we reschedule the performances.
